May is Bike Month, a time when we celebrate all things cycling in our community. There are oodles of fun activities planned for all skill levels across the Corridor, like the Iowa City Bike Library’s chill weekly ride (Thursdays at 7PM) that promises “no rider will be left behind” and Cedar Rapids Bike Share Kick-Off Party (May 13), a fun gathering with a ribbon-cutting and a bike ride.
New Pi will commemorate Bike to Work Week (May 13 – 19) with two fantastic events at our stores. On May 14 from 5PM – 7PM, we’ll have a Bike to Work Week Table at the bike trail across from our Cedar Rapids store. We will have New Pi punch cards, house-made Bumble Babies samples, and FREE swag. Our famous Co-op-to-Co-op Community Ride is on May 15 (rain date: May 16). The ride begins at College Green Park and continues to the Coralville store parking lot, where the party awaits! There will be live music from Stacy Webster and lots of yummy New Pi food and drinks.
