The crisp lime-scented Cortese grape makes a beautifully refreshing wine! Full of apple, honeydew, and peach flavors, with a dry finish that leaves with a bright and slightly herbal impression, with notes of almonds, lime, and fresh mown lawn. It’s a natural with fish dishes, but also shines with tart cheeses, like Chevre, Pecorino, or Manchego.
This rose, made from 100% Aramon grapes is full of strawberry and nectarine flavors, with a pleasant touch of spicy minerality in the finish. The floral nose is as pretty as the striking rosy hue. Lovely with cured salamis, turkey, blue cheese, or all by itself after a long day!

Godello is my favorite white Spanish varietal. It almost disappeared a few decades ago from Spain but thankfully a small number of growers saved it and today, forward-looking winemakers are making refreshing and exciting things with it. The Seculo tickles your senses with honeysuckle, pear, apple, and minerality. It pairs nicely with shellfish, seafood, and cilantro lime rice.
High end French wine producers can’t help but make awesome wine even in their ventures outside their famous appellations. This Ventoux, a blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah is grown along the left bank of the Rhone river, around the limestone outcrop of the Mount Ventoux. The tech sheet says mostly Grenache but the Syrah here has an omnipresence that speaks of further North, like Hermitage… Pairs well with Provençale legumes, stews and casseroles of all types. This is a great value!
Brambly berries, black fruit, and an interesting element of minerality make the OVZ from Cline a cool weather favorite! Full-bodied and firm, with a dry, leather tinged finish and grippy tannins it’s wonderful with bold flavored foods and rich roasted flavors. Cline Old Vine fruit is sourced from vines dating back to 1942, and the classic jammy, wildly bold Zin flavors in this bottle show it. Pair with rich, meaty stews to really let those decadent berry and mocha flavors shine through!
