Coralville Co-op Construction Update 6/5/19

Hello Everyone,

We continue to work through our remodel here in Coralville.

First and foremost, thank you to everyone for all your patience and your feedback as we look to improve our store.

Our Meat & Seafood department is now fully operational with all the same great products that we carried before. You may see some new faces in the department as all our cutters from the Iowa City store have transitioned to our CV store where we will centralize meat cutting for both stores in Johnson County.

Significant changes to our Prepared Foods department are underway and to the area located under our mezzanine.  We have relocated many of our products in this area to other places in our store.

Hearth breads and prepackaged breads have moved to the front of the store near our entry and coffee and tea have moved into the grocery aisles.  If at any point you need assistance in finding an item, please ask any staff member for assistance and we would be happy to help.

We hope to have our new food island installed by the end of this week, featuring a salad bar, various soups and hot food offerings for lunch and dinner. We are also looking into a possible breakfast service in the future.

New nut grinders will be on site soon! The grinders will be more reliable, with fewer jamming issues, and provide a better product. This is one of the small changes that we are incorporating into an updated bulk set as we strive to provide zero waste options for our customers.

Again, thank you for your patience during this process and stayed tuned for more updates in the future.
