New Pioneer Food Co-op’s grocery department has what you’re looking for. Simply put, we carry many products that cannot be found elsewhere in the area. Unlike corporate, cookie-cutter grocers, we actually taste all our items and promote quality. We support small, family run companies.

With over twenty years of combined experience, staff like Ben and Scott can help guide you on your good food journey by helping you select the best, most healthful items for you and your family. The Co-op offers a full-range of products, from gourmet delicacies to pantry staples. We promote natural and organic items whenever we can, but we do stock some conventional products as a convenience to our customers.

Our focus on local suppliers is evident in our extensive local products list. We feature a wide range of locally-made items, like deep dish pizza from Nonna Rose’s in Bettendorf and gluten-free Breads from Anna, made in Iowa City. Liven up any party tray with the freshest salsas from Cheryl’s Fresh Salsa, La Casa, Kramer's and La Reyna, creamy Oasis Hummus and Baba Ganoush, and tangy Creamy Feta Dressing from Basil’s Foods.
