One of our favorite winter beers is the Winter Welcome Ale from Samuel Smith Brewery in Yorkshire, England. This dark, complex treat is rich and warming, with a nice hop profile and a roasted malt backbone. We promote local breweries, as well as quality independent microbreweries from around the globe. Check out our selection of local beers from Millstream Brewing Company, Iowa’s oldest microbrewery located right down the road in Amana. We also offer locally-made Sutliff Cider, a dry apple hard cider that’s a great change of pace from your everyday lager.

New Pi’s beer staff is truly dedicated to delivering our customers the best beer experience possible. Beer buyers Sal & Ken taste every beer & cider on the shelvesbefore deciding whether or not to stock it. Sal has a long background in home brewing and has done extensive research on the history of brewing, and Ken has experimented with home brewing as well. Each beer is judged on its quality, and just as importantly, on how well it fits its designated category--pale ale must look, smell, and taste like a pale ale.
